    Suntory Hakushu Whisky

This is a shot of a section of the bar in the tasting room of Suntory's Hakushu Distillery. The distillery is one of two that makes malt whisky. It is located in the South Japan Alps region, about an hour away from Matsumoto. The older distillery is located near Kyoto.

I was looking at trying to create something along the lines of a product shot.

Nicely captured, interesting patterns created by the bottle's shadow which suggests different lighting at top row. The copper colored barrier makes both rows look quite different, perhaps you could play with the labels by making the shelves look identical.

Interesting pattern shot Manfred. Displaying the competition's wares like this is clearly designed to send shivers down Donald's spine.

    Sacrilege. Sacrilege!

But since Japanese companies own a significant number of whisky distilleries in Scotland well....!

In fact what they did was buy up distilleries here and import the whisky in bulk to blend with their own until they got good enough in their own right to start producing it as Japanese whisky. So, it's a case of come and learn from the traditional master ... and then take over from them!
