I'm gonna tell you the first thing that popped into my mind...
WOW, he created a foundation from giant pixels.
Once the temporary fit of insanity passed, I was able to appreciate the image as a whole.
Am liking it!
Nicely done.
Again, the clarity is amazing. Are you noticing any difference in the light there? It just seems so clear. I'm sure the photographic skill has a lot to do with it, but ....
Donald - I cheat a bit. I start off by adjusting my black and white point in all of my shots. Most of my architectural and landscape shots have a touch of the new Photoshop / Lightroom dehaze filter applied to them and then I run things through the Nik Color Efex Tonal Contrast filter. I like images that have "pop".
It certainly has pop and I like the image but why does the foreground look like a double exposure?
Poor PP work on my part. I straightened out some vertical lines on a layer that had a layer mask applied to it so part of the layer below was coming through it. Unfortunately, I missed that in reviewing the work on the small laptop screen (I guess I shouldn't edit and post at 2:00AM after a long road trip).
Corrected version showing now as the first image on this thread and this is the uncorrected one here.
Very nice place...good clear and neat shot too. I wonder if that plant they put on the fence will be thick later on...
Nicely captured.
A beautiful building Manfred, I love Asian architecture just so different from what I see around me at home
Very nice
