For me, the blue areas in the background need to be toned down a little.

I think the flower came out very well, the background less so. the background is kind of busy and splotchy. There is no exif information with the image, but that might help.
I tried blurring the background in photoshop, and that helped, but I wasn't able to do it without creating a bit of a halo around the petals. Perhaps someone with better skills can suggest how to do that.

Even though it does not work for me, the focus and colour is stunning.
I would love it turned around, I do not want the background in focus.
The way it is set up makes the flower the "hero".

It works for me but I still see that bluish-purple-ish part of the stem...or am I just the one seeing it?
