Broughty Ferry and The Tay, Scotland

Every time I visit Broughty Ferry I am drawn to taking images of the Castle in varying lighting. This image was taken from Stannergate, off the Dundee / Broughty Ferry Road. This was taken during the blue hour.

The Ferry was the one bit of Dundee that I never really got that familiar with during all my years working there. And that was the thing - Living as I do in Glenfarg, Dundee was my place of work so the idea of spending social time further east in the Ferry, never really featured.

I ran out into the garden last night and did a quick grab of that full moon coming up over the village. Just a snapshot. Not in the same quality league as that one over Broughty Ferry.

Several decades ago, I spent six months in Dundee and these pictures bring back pleasant memories. It is an interesting place with many good scenes but I did not have a camera in those days.

Thanks Donald. Like your moon shot. Was a bit to cloudy in The Ferry that evening!
