    A nice image but I do agree with the flat look of the water. I don't know if it would help or not but have you tried just lightening the water up a little.

    Always hard to say. Pico & Sepulveda?

    Just kidding. It's exact location is 36.6020, -118.3113 Wales lake looking SSE. The peak in the middle is Mt. Hale. The far peak just camera left of Mt. Hale and not part of the cirque is Mt. Whitney. I've been spending a lot of time the last couple of years around Mt. Whitney, but have no intention of climbing it. I have a shot from the same area showing Mt. Whitney glowing in Alpenglow. It's not too good, but I'll post it up in another thread to share.

    That's some beautiful but also forbidding looking terrain. Is access via hike or road?
