Very cool, I'd probably frame only three of the ladies so you can get more in the frame.
John, I did just that when I did the editing. Just did not seem to work well.
Ole
Its a cool shot, a little bit blurry perhaps? Was it shot through a glass window?
Matt, you are right it is blurry. It was shot in a hurry 35mm. I then had to do some heavy cropping.
Yes...I like what you saw and glad you took this chance...these ones have more pretty hair than what I bought over here...the kids (dogs) are still barking at it everytime they go inside my den. Was this taken at Victoria Market or Footscray...??? I like going to Footscray open markets even though the aisles are too small in between the stores..
Different hair, but the mannequins all seem to have the same mouth - or the same pouty expression on their mouths.
Izzie, the picture was taken at Victoria Market. We go there quite often
Cheers Ole
I like it, and I'd go back to do it again in less of a hurry. It's a photo that's worth another shot, definitely.
Oh...sometimes you do not know what you got until you get home and load your images in your pooter...When I am in a hurry, I shoot three or more for choice and adjust my settings as I go...Since lucky Ole lives in Melbourne, he can always go back...
With a static subject such as mannequins, there is no need to 'guess'.
Thats like the old days of Kodachrome and waiting a week to see the result. As Kodachrome was relatively expensive I learned a long ago to take my time.
Sitting in front of a computer is the the downside of digital haste.
