    These a great. I wish they were easier to approach. I've yet to have a "keeper".

    Thanks Irene! They are like most raptors and very apprehensive around people. Be patient it will happen.

    I just love #2 image, Barbara...very timely...I don't have time to read others' comments yet but I will sometime so if somebody already beat me to my comment, I am sorry folks...gotta hurry to aerate our cat as soon as my master calls me...

    Hey, Barbara. I love osprey. The first shot is awesome. Great angle that shows off the interesting back feathers and nice techs. Next I like the drying out shot. The last one is great position on the bird and nice techs though not a great angle. Overall a nice set.

    Expertly done, one and all. One of my favorite birds and I've never gotten a single exposure worth sharing.

    Nice series! As someone who shoots Osprey all the time I can only tell you that getting the 'fish' shot is not easy. Usually hanging around a nest will get you some opportunities when the parents bring back food for the youngsters.

    Thank you Tom! I made it a mission to get a good shot and have had a couple of willing models, which always helps.

    Thank you Monte! I don't know that I have ever seen a nest. I will definitely be on the look out for it the next time I find an osprey.
