Nice series, was #3 handheld as well?
Hi, John,
All except #1 were hand held. I squatted and used live view to position #2,3,4.
Marie
Terrific series , well done.
Very nice images. I especially like the bokeh in the last one.
Really beautiful shots! I could look at #1 for hours.
No's 2, 3, and 4, remind me of a line by Neil Young - "..and the water shone like diamonds in the dew"
I am not competent to critique these, Marie, but I really like that last one in particular. What lovely vistas you have where you live.
Lovely shots Marie, #1 is my personal favourite.
Raymond,
Thank you for stopping by and commenting.

Dear John,
I did not realize that tinypic may have not included the exif data when uploading, so just FYi, I know for the last one, shutter speed was 1/100, f22, ISO was 800. focal length was 105.
I had my camera set on 2 second delay. Maybe, maybe not, but I think it helps with my own camera shake problems.
Marie
Hi, Steve,
Thank you. I wanted the glitter points to fade back to bokeh. That is what i was after.
Marie
Very nice Marie,
I'm glad you showed us the entire series.
All you needed to complete the set was a macro lens to go in on that biggest drop in #4 which has the scene refracted (inverted) within it.
Sorry; there's always someone who's "never satisfied" - and today I'm filling that role!
Only thing I wondered about was whether, as presented in a series, was if the WB (White Balance) on last should have matched the others? That said, I can see why you have it as it is and it isn't an issue at all if #4 is viewed alone.
I hope that last part was useful, Dave
dear Dave,
Good morning! You are up late (or I am up too early) Thanks for jumping in!
A macro would have been nice. However, for this 60 year old overweight woman to lay down in the grass and then try to get up would not have been a very pretty sight. Still, I may have the same conditions later, and if so, I wll try a closeup.
You are right about the continuity of treatment in a series. It would have been best. However, I did rather like #4 as it was. I felt one could get a better flavor of early morning.
Your commentary was useful. Thank you.

Dear Chris,
I love Neil Young! I never put the 2 and 2 together. Great quote - and so true.
Thanks for posting.
Marie
Very nice series Marie , my favs are #1 and #4
Was this taken on your farm, Marie? You live in a beautiful place to be sure...I prefer #1 even though all of them are very good shots...great compositions.
Dear Jan,
I disagree when you say that you are not qualified to critique. I have fould your observations/comments always to be astute and on the mark.
I never tire of the views here. I watch the sun rise and the sun set, and each time it does, it is different.
Best to you,
Marie
Hi, Matt!
Thank you for looking and commenting. I like the way #1 turned out as well. I do not often use my tripod, but based on the results, I think I will be using it more often.
