All are beautiful, but the first one is great IMO. Good captures, Dan!

Great captures! Looks cold there already as we sit in the HIGH 80's and 90's!

Re: While waiting for wildlife...
Thanks for the replies, folks. The perspective in no.3 is weird due to my being so close to the mountain. The ridgeline is actually nearly level, if anything actually rising towards the right side of the frame. I wasn't very happy with that one but after the trouble of stitching seven frames etc. figured I'd post it anyway.
Yes, Barbara, after an abnormally warm, dry summer we are back to seasonable temperatures but wetter than normal. We usually get a lot of rain in August but it came late. Then this snow. Typically the snow doesn't come this low for a couple more weeks at least. But I'll take it versus 80s and 90s

There aren't many times that I miss northern B.C.. But looking at these shots is one of them. Nicely done.

Brrr....rrrrr.........!!! Alaska is beautiful but your winter comes too early and too long...I was watching Alaska, the last frontier last night after Island Hunter and said to my husband that we should move to Alaska. He said yes then I remember the cold when I used to go with him in some of his commercial flights as a pilot. Cold!!! Very cold...short summers, long winters...but pristine and beautiful...your shots here reminds me more of cold! cold! cold!

Re: While waiting for wildlife...
Glad you guys liked the shots. Ironically I typically carry at least one additional lens with me but this day I was travelling light. The patch of ground cover where I took the first one in the frost offered some great opportunities with the right lens.
Yes it's definitely getting a bit cooler. After such a warm summer the first few cool morning require an attitude adjustment

Definitely looking cold Dan. We keep on talking about going somewhere warm for a few days and it's still 12-15+here. Nice images with the first standing out for me.
