    Cubism in Architecture

A couple more from Copenhagen that suggested mono plus one that was sheer chance. The pure simplicity of the architecture attracted me. All Fuji XT1 with the 18-55mm kit lens.

John, when I read the title I was expecting something along the lines of Picasso or Duchamps

Anyway, these are excellent...right up my street!

I absolutely love #2, great PP work on all of them to

Thanks Matt, for the swift response. I had no idea until I looked it up, that Cubism eventually broke free of its artistic origins and began to influence both architecture and furniture design.

Great eye in all three! I can't imagine a better example of the benefits of working the scene.

#1 is very neat...In #2 I was more interested in the person with a baby walker (?) I was peering and hoping you'd catch a bigger picture in one of the cubes then #3 came up...I love that last one...Anything more similar?

    Re: Cubism in Architecture

Thanks all for the comments. The architecture in Copenhagen is an eclectic mix of very old and new. The nice thing is they have shied away from the purely functional when it comes to the new and consequently there are some stunning modern structures.

Mike, working the scene is usually a bit of a luxury but occasionally, on holiday, I am allowed the opportunity.
