    Tejal...

I hope that you do not object to me working with your images, If you do, I will no longer post any changes that I make.

I have the NIK Software Package and really like using this to help post proces my images.

One of my favorite things about NIK is the Control Point System.

I used NIK Vivesa on your image #2. I worked on it because I like it so much but, thought with a bit of PP it might be improved. I selected the men and the idols using the control point system and then increased the shadow adjustments. Then I used the control points to select the sky and lowered the brightness.

This was the final result. I think that it looks like fill flash has been used...

    Ganesh Festival

    What do you think?

    ohhh this is awesome !!!

Nik software I also have but this NIK Vivesa i have never tried. I will try it now. It takes lot of time in opening and then processing, so I avoid using it. But your revised version is encouraging me to use it. Now, I will......

Regarding processing my picture, Richard, please do not feel hesitated to do that. I will never ever have any objection for that . And I will not even mind to share RAW file, if you or any of you require to try some different processing.

    Regards,

    Tejal

Tejal, I am happy that you have the NIK software. That way I don't feel awkward using NIK to enhance some of your images.

IMO: NIK is just great in that it is so easy to make a selection using the Control Point System.

BTW: Starting off with the Raw Pre-Sharpener module is the way I begin my PP workflow; unless I have shot the RAW image at a higher ISO and then I begin by using Dfine for noise control.

Yes, yesterday I tried NIK and as you said it is quite quite good.
