Hibiscus blooms don't last very long. The last one that I shot was in bright sunshine. This one was taken on a heavily overcast day.
C & C always welcomed.

I remember your previous shot Andre. The flower looks much better in this one
Nice color and exposure Andre. These are hard to get right in strong sunlight.
Thank you Binnur and Jim.
I seem to be learning slowly. I went shooting some landscapes yesterday and I must admit that I enjoy that a lot more than flowers. I will be posting some as soon as they are processed.

Great shot, Andre...I too remember your other hibiscus. Mine last only for two or three days so after taking the shot, I ran out of steam going there again...my only nit here is that you sprayed the flower too much...just a few bits of water spots would have been enough, but then what do I know? Now that I am typing this response, I thought if there are fewer water sprays, it will detract from the flower itself....are you confused enough?
Fantastic shot!!! Really nice!
Just excellent Andre. That black background really works against the sharp as a tack flower.
Thank you Graham.
Darkening the background was the only solution that I found to hide a multitude of problems with the original.

Here is the original that I was referring to:
The link that Dave added points to my previous post of a bloom on the same plant.
