Trevor, did it ever occur to you to use the movie feature of your camera so you can just and and wait and enjoy the show too? Does your camera has a movie feature? I must be getting ahead of my thoughts here...but these are superb shots...more please????

Might be nice but my camera is stills only. However once I have the camera set up, I don't look through the viewfinder; just click and hold for the estimated time length. Never really stop watching, only long enough to quickly check the image on the back screen for blinkies.
