Three different ways of editing a scene, which all work for me.

All good, but I particularly like what you have done with the reflection in the first image.

    You'd be amazed Donald!

It was an interesting trip as I was with another photographer and we were primarily strolling and chatting with the odd 'click' rather than the other way round....obviously when one of us stopped so did the other so we were taking the same scene quite often.

However our end results were very, very different.

....and thank you to John, Geoff and Greg.

Hi Sharon, excellent series (I could say as always). You do have a trick of creating images that seem to spark things for me.
I've been re-reading Dante's Inferno and also been re-aquainting myself with Greek Mythology. I think it's a response to my increasing irritation with some modern dramatic media mash-ups which put too much emphasis on simple conflict at the expense of the more interesting deeper themes (or maybe I mean Themis).

Anyway, your latest images are echoes that match my broodings about 'mythic' journeys, the waters of Lethe, spirit guides and uncertain destinations...

Sharon...so much mysteries in these shot...The reflection stood out in #1 while trying to find the mood at the top; #2 is a typical family scene but the pp makes it more so. It sort of a hash between the bright light and the shadows...I like the brooding/thinking guy image in #3. What was he looking at there? It seems that he went there to isolate himself from whatever he wanted to shut himself off from who knows where, be alone, just be himself...one can interpret the last one in so many ways...
