Interesting idea with the horn extending above the top border John,
Nicely processed in other respects too.
Cheers, Dave
Nice image, the processing with the frame adds to the 3 dimensional presentation. Love the red socks
Very nice. If this were mine I would remove some of the people in the back and/or maybe change the color of their outfits to compliment the main subjects.
Thanks
As always, John; impeccable image that has been beautifully processed.
I can't decide whether or not I like the jacket hanging from the back of the chair or not. Right now I'd have to say the image would have likely been better without it, but then, there's not much you could have done about it anyway.
Thanks all for a great set of comments. The bell of the Bass (or Bombardon as I'm told it's called), sticking out at the top was really a mechanism for losing a not very attractive roof on the stalls opposite. Manfred, the jacket didn't bother me as much as that blue plastic thingy hanging near his feet but it is what it is I guess. Too difficult to clone.

John. I echo the above sentiments. Stretching the horn beyond the borders is really creative.
Regarding the "blue plastic thingy" you mention; what do you think about a bit of desaturation and darkening? It doesn't get rid of the "thingy" but, IMO, the treatment makes it less obvious!
BTW: I like the hanging jacket because it seems to balance the red socks!
I am with Richard here about the jacket and the socks...good processing, John...the out-of-bound treatment adds to the interest too...good idea to put it there to cover up an ugly spot...
Thanks Richard, thanks Izzie. That would work Richard. I thought about changing the colour but de saturating it would easier and just as effective.
