    I love it, Dan...!!! I wouldn't have thought of photographing this one ... I'd sweep it off instead but here you are exposing your artistic side. From now on, I will never take too many photo op for granted!!!

    Thanks, all. Izzie, one thing about macro photography is that it trains you to look where no one else does. I habitually look at roadside ditches when I go for a walk.

    Cool shot Dan, how old could it be?

    I gave up on Macro photography... I don't have the patience chasing bugs... Landscapes don't move! (Well tectonic plates do but slow enough for me to photograph )

    My guess is that it it's old. I had just moved some cartons that had been stored for years when I found it.

    My compromise some of the time (given that I am a lousy landscape photographer) is flowers indoors: interesting macro, but they don't fly away.

    I liked it for its sharpness and details; yet i would love if it were lying on earthy ground, then it will have a story too
