This requires great courage on my part but may I suggest placing a stain from the bottom of a coffee mug somewhere in the shot. I just can't imagine being nostalgic without coffee.

I never touch the stuff Brian. I hurtle around the lampshades enough without it.

Perhaps I can get a texture that does that or 'distresses it' in some way.....in fact..am sure I can...watch this space...

Got to agree #1 works for me. And now I need to put on the coffee pot. I don't shoot in your style but often your shots make me wonder how I could get a similar effect. Thanks

Very nice, I prefer the 2nd stain myself though ... its not as dominating. Maybe reduce the opacity on the 1st?
