Re: Central European Lines
In fact,I walked on a single street and around the center.I saw neither its museums nor its art galleries, neither from its ancient history-here was a Roman camp-nor its modern history.I had no time to go to the theater or to the philharmonic orchestra.I did a superficial image of the life of this town because of that pole.I am so sorry.

There is no doubt that more respect for the past will increase the confidence of the people thea their future will built on a solid base.

Interesting footprints, paper, but no person. :)
Re: Central European Lines
This "two stars town" seemed to be a sad one.

The arrive near the center of the town didn't remove the sadness.

Re: Central European Lines
The lack of the tourists was not a good sign. Here,at Furstenberg Palace, instead of a basin with water-claimed by the inhabitants to be the Danube spring-it was a construction site and a few English words for excuses. So the visit was "verboten".

As a bonus,Furstenberg Palace and its garden were closed.Odin and Thor asking the sacrifices not only Thursday.

Re: Central European Lines
Trying to escape from Odin and Thor pressure we walked through the town. This is the building of the Furstenberg brewery with the Diana statue and fountain in front of it. Why Diana is here, because she is known as first beer drinker from Valhalla,I suppose.:)

PS: At the fountain was not beer, only water.Another reason of disappointment.

Then a maypole and the Hansl fountain came into my lens

This empty town lives, probably, around and inside this beer factory.:)

Re: Central European Lines
This "re-appreciation" led us... back.On the road to the car we got into the Saint John church which was built 300 years ago in Czech-bohemian baroque style, near Furstenberg palace
