    Re: Central European Lines

I really like The Gypsies, not sure there is a lot I would do with it to try and make it something it is not.

The building is beautiful too, but I would try to be conscious of any people in the photograph while shooting. The way it is they sort of attract attention to the weakest part of it, which is the foundation which is not bathed in that beautiful light. The guy in the red jacket could have added something because the color goes with the palette of the photograph, the pedestrian in the white jacket does not seem to add much. I would be sorely tempted to clone her out, and move the guy in the red jacket to a better position. Maybe swap images with the second column from the left. That way he is walking into the scene and sort of frames the whole thing, instead of dividing it, as he does now. I also might have waited for the cloud to move a little so that it is part of the picture, it is nice, but it looks almost attached to the building as it is, and highlights what appears to be a minor detail of the architecture, while the other features, the cross and the tower especially, cry for attention.

I also feel like there are things going on with perspective that I don't know how to fix, but I know there are people here who have suggested similar fixes before.

It feels like I am putting your picture down with all of this criticism, but if I didn't think it had potential to be very good, I wouldn't spend the time thinking about it.

    Hello,
I'm Hungarian American ... , both my parents were born in Hungary and I was born in California,USA. But, I speak the language fluently!
I even named my daughter after one of Hungary's rivers, Tisza.
    ( my mother-Hungarian Gypsy, father Svab:Hungarian/German.)

I was very excited to take a look of your photos!- I will be going to visit my grandmother in Baja, Hungary the end of March, hopefully, so that she can meet her first great grand child (my daughter) for the first time.

    Just had to share.

    Hi,
Tomorrow is the Memorial Day.When the politicians renounce to the understanding, the innocents, from all sides, begin to die. Then, the survivors commemorate, with politicians in front of them, the martyrs.
This image is from Alsace,France,a county which suffered "thanks to" politicians.

    Hi,
At 90 miles north-west from Bucharest there is Curtea de Arges(Argesh in English),a small town with 30,000 inhabitants,where,500 years ago,a strange story happened.
