Griddi - a question for you. What is the subject?
1. The Japanese Garden?; or
2. The lady?
Normally in an image, the answer to this question should be obvious to the viewer, but in this image, I'm really not sure. That tells me that this image isn't working as well as it should for me. The lady is too centered and prominent for this to be an image of the garden, yet she is too small and far away for it to be an image of the lady.
I think you have this figured out in your mind already, as you have suggested that the lady is too centered in the image. I think the garden is quite lovely, but the lady is too central, so she detracts, rather than compliments the garden.
Nothing to add but just wanted to say Hi Griddy...good to see you again!![]()
Welcome back GriddiI would try cropping the image from the right side. This way you would put the lady off centre and you would still have most of the garden in the frame. That rock in the FG is too big and it needs cropping anyway.
Exactly what I was thinking, Binnur.
