I was hoping you would notice. I have noticed 'jumping' spiders with the same type of coating. Though in their case it was piled up like a large misshapen top hat.The head is pointing towards the bottom and it seemed to walk on the longer white protrusions.

There is a need to be careful around the insects over here. Especially if you have allergies. But a little prudence goes a long way to staying safe. The corruption is more dangerous than the bugs.
