Is it just me or should I get with the times?

On a photo shoot yesterday. Props supplied; a couple of 1920's tiger moths, restored and in flying condition. Professional models supplied in period costume 1940 -50's. All is good. Maybe a tad too sunny. But I see a problem!

Yes there were other models .. another was "decorated" but not quite like this lass. There was quite a bit of "face furniture" on display as well.

Taking a woman's portrait then blurring her face out so that you can have a go at her anonymously on line is as we say in Aus... P#ss poor form.

Izzie, She didn't fall over into a tattoo bush and get up all scared for life, I think she will be fine with it

It's not so much about you getting with the times; as their tats not fitting in with the specific times. Nicely captured.

I doubt it would be that drastic, tattoos are attractive but just don't fit the period photography displayed.

Cropping the head does not work, neither does blurring it with the composition you have chosen to go with.

I often wonder if the tats are genuine tats or just transfers to be changed at will.

I do not mind men or women with tattoos...as long as they are not on my children...I have friends who have tattoos who drives Harleys and they are the most gentle creatures, men and women on earth...I guess I am with John (Shadowman) on this about the shot itself not fitting with old vintage planes...
