    Hi Brian,

Gorgeous background, beautiful colours and nice light on the critter. I also love the shadows, and the sense of depth seen in the leaf that the grasshopper is perched on. I adore this shot... Super cute, too.

Aside.. The Freudian in me thinks that I see a couple of dust spots on the leaf in the lower right corner.

    Hi Brian,

I think might stand a couple of stops more exposure.

Also, I'd be tempted to crop from the lower and right hand sides, placing 'hoppity' on the lower right thirds intersection, with more space above and to our left. However, I appreciate that sounds very formulaic, but it would also remove the two dark spots Christina mentions.

Hope you don't mind me sayin', Dave

Just to say that even though technically it is underexposed, I adore the exposure as is. I love the sense of the critter peeking out of the dark jungle foliage.

Strangely he was perfectly centered to start with. So following the formula I moved him left and up. Why do you prefer dpwn and rigtht?

Because it gives him space inside the frame to jump within.

I see you have a second crop here.

    Cheers, Dave
