Some (Usual and unusual) Copenhagen statues

Just some of the statues that particularly took my eye.

    1. Inevitably

    2. Just because he reminded me of someone I seem to see I the mirror every morning.

    3. No info about this one so we dubbed him "the Thespian" i.e. "A man of many parts".
Some (Usual and unusual) Copenhagen statues

    4. "Agnete and the Merman". Uniquely, this was a piece deliberately made to be submerged in one of the canals. Surprisingly clear given that I didn't have a polariser with me.

Sculptures in the city gives a special feeling. I like them.

Occasionally a hangover. More generally life's weight on my shoulders (actual or perceived ).

Wow, wonderful sculptures/statues, and great photos. I like the poignant simplicity of #1, the second one looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders - did you use an off-camera flash for that one? The third is my favourite, love the POV and the exposure, the horizon looks off by just a tad. The fourth looks kind of eerie or, even ominous. The light/angle must have been in your favour, it is surprisingly clear without a polariser.

These shots make me want to visit Copenhagen!

These are very good, both the pictures and the statues themselves. I hadn't seen numbers 2, 3 and 4 before.

There's something special about Copenhagen and around there. To anyone visiting, I would recommend the Louisiana Museum, a little to the north.

Interesting...#2, although he is not carrying a world, it reminds of me Atlas, the beard -- well you do not have a beard, or do you? I like #3 -- the thinking clank-clank in metal version of The Thinker...I like this one...

Chris, no flash involved with no.2 . It's just available light and PP.
