    Hi Binnur,

I think you've definitely achieved what you set out to do with this effect, its not entirely to my taste as I prefer high contrast images but thats not what you were trying for and I can see why a lot of people love it

Also I can't fault the composition of the shot, well done.

Thanks for looking and liking Jim It's a pity that the lightbox still doesn't work.

Thanks for your comments Brian, I'm glad that you are positive about the image My eyes are used to seeing the image this way now and that's why I prefer to keep it unflipped. I might play around the midtones just a bit later to see how it works but I'm actually a bit keen on the tender look for this particular image. But your comment certainly makes sense to me and I will keep it in mind for my future images, thanks for that

Then, for some odd reason. I did a horizontal flip and decided I like that better. I'm trying to figure out why and can only come up with the idea that our reading is from left to right and that makes the lean of the stems uplifting. I don't know if that makes any sense but I am interested in how we develop a perception of an image and often flip my images around.

Hi Mike, thanks for looking and liking the image I might slightly tone down that small reflection without completely losing it as it is a part of the composition and mood, thanks for noticing. I already tried a stronger white vignette while editing the image but the image didn't look as tender as this one ,so I stepped back. I'm glad that you like the mood in the image.

I wasn't going to comment until I have access to my desktop monitor, but I just have to chime in in response to Donald's comment about the importance of the reflection in the water. My eye is immediately drawn to the bud at the very top and that reflection is so close to the bud that I find it a bit distracting.

The mood of the scene is great even on a small laptop monitor. Another possibility is to use a negative vignette (white or light grey) that eliminates all detail at the sides.

Hi Greg. Thanks a lot for your kind appreciation I'm glad that the image conveys some feelings for you . I will sure check the vignette before putting the image a side.

I like the light. I like the colour. It evokes emotion. I could sit and stare at this and let my imagination carry me away.

The only suggestion I have is to soften the gradient a bit. The transition feels a bit abrupt to me, particularly on the rhs.

Love it! Exquisite! I adore the post processing/mood which matches the delicate beauty of the flowers.
