From a composition standpoint, I like it from a processing standpoint, I find it needs a bit of a tweak. The exposure looks good too.
If I look at the histogram of this image, it does not show any pure white values and any pure black ones, which in reality is not the case in a scene that is backlit and has specular highlights.
I like the pattern created by the reeds and the implied movement, however the reflected light is a bit of a distraction, it's a little bit too equal in terms of radiance; if the upper portion was decreased in intensity it would help somewhat.
Yes, I love it as it is, it looks soft and not quite real. I think it would lose that if it had more defined blacks and whites.
It's interesting to see sometimes in threads here the difference ways we all have of looking at the same picture, the different notions we have of what makes a good photo. This one to me is beautiful
I just love it. If it was mine, it would go in a frame and hang on the wall in my office.

There's a hazy, dream like quality to this image which, in my opinion works very, very well. However, if you haven't, I might suggest playing with mid-range curves a bit. In any event I think you've ended up with a great image: print and hang.
Hi Jack, I'm glad that you like my interpretation I haven't played with the midtones because I didn't want the mood to get effected , but may be applying it only on some parts of the photo with a brush without spoiling the hazy look might work . Thanks for the suggestion.
I downloaded it to check if it was true what my eyes saw, it's a little red. I don't know if you change that if it will be better. It's a nice tender image.
By accident in my search to the histogram tool I mirrored it and it feels much stronger. I must find out for myself why.

Ohh..let me think here... !
I LOVE it!
It reminded me of something so I went looking.
It reminds me of Yvonne Coombers paintings...
