Hello there!
Just back from Africa - and sharing this just because he's cute! Probably about two years old.

Re: Hello there!
That wins this year's 'Aahh' competition.
As well as that, it's a very good pic.

Re: Hello there!
Very nice, I've been watching a few documentaries where the elephants don't act kindly to humans, perhaps a bit of truth to the "elephants never forget" regarding poaching efforts against them.

Re: Hello there!
Really nice little guy, maybe a crop off the top edge a little?
I have just read a book about Elephants and their memory and studies of their grieving processes.
I'm glad I didn't miss your image.
Thankyou for sharing it.

Re: Hello there!
Thanks for the kind feedback everyone. I too am fascinated by elephants and their social structure and behaviour.
This little chap lives in Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia, where I was delighted to see a really healthy population of elephants, of all ages. The Park authorities and local Conservation Society have made great strides against poaching, and recent losses have been minimal.
