    Bees are back

Over the past few months I seen very few bee around. Yesterday the purple sages bloomed and were immediately covered with bees. Here are a couple of shots. C & C always.

    I prefer #1.
Did you use selective colouring in #2?

Nice captures Dean. Due to our weather this year there has been a dearth of insect life in the garden. In the last few days we have been enjoying an Indian Summer and suddenly the garden has come alive. Now where's that macro lens.

Great capture of the BIF. They are very hard to get.

Hard to catch in flight but you've done it. DoF has caught the first one out a bit and the second one seems over processed to my eye -as if it's had a little too much detail enhancement. Mind you it does appear to be a nice sharp shot.
