Nice captures and conversions.
Lovely in all respects.
Good compositions but why the grain?
Very nice images I too wonder about the grain, did you add it with PP? It looks a bit too much.
Travis - while I have never been to the Philippines, these two images remind me very much of scenes we've seen on trips to developing countries.
Photo 1 - In many of the developing countries we visited, we would often see children come racing out when they saw visitors yelling "take my picture!" and hamming it up for the camera. They would always want to see their picture on the camera display (it seems that all of the children in the village would crowd around and would want to see what they looked like. Sometimes there would be requests for "compensation"; money or treats.
Photo 2 - Also a very typical scene. An older sibling would be taking care of a younger one, caring him or her around. Notice the lack of diaper on the toddler. This was something pretty typical as well as, seeing youngsters who who are not toilet trained running around like that. Cheap (zero cost) and practical in a warm climate.
The processing is a bit strange with lots of artifacts. I suspect some of this was to isolate your subjects, but some of the other ones I don't quite understand.
I find the "graininess" very distracting.
The second photo looks as if your lens needs a good clean. I am referring to the dust and hair/scratches down the right hand side of the photo.
