Lovebugs
Suddenly it's love bug season here. For those who aren't familiar with these critters they do three things: eat pollen, mate, die. Often swarm while in-flight mating and wind up spattered on cars and windshields. A large swarm can clog the radiator of a car; other than that they are harmless. C & C always.

Re: Lovebugs
Hi Dean I like the composition and the bugs look sharp and clear. The highlights on the flower seems a bit distracting to me, I would try reducing them if the image was mine.

Re: Lovebugs
I generally capture mine with a windshield speed of approximately 50mph.
Nice catch finding them still like that and getting the texture in the black.

Re: Lovebugs
Nice composition and a sharp image , well done and as suggested tone down the highlights would probably enhance the flower, an easier flow to the eyes .

Re: Lovebugs
We must refrain for photographing such a image...there are kids watching this forum...
Good capture, Dean. I like the sharpness of these bugs and good composition too...
