I hate spiders but still find these kind of macro shots interesting. Nicely done.

he was too low down for my back to allow me to get a shot of his eyes. But it did work nicely.

I used to not like them but then I realized how many mosquitoes they ate. And they do pack a lot of beauty into a small area.

Welcome to the group Jackson. It is one of my better spider shots.

Brian a very fine capture. I particularly like the web detail you have captured. That zigzag pattern in the web is similar to web patterns created by Argiope sp in the UK.

Thank-you. One of those shots where everything came together. The sun just right, no breeze, easy placement for the tripod and a comfortable seat for me. We have a few spiders here that use the zig zag in their webs.

It started out as a good shot and then came to life in pp. Gimp has a nonlinear filter that can bring out an amazing amount of detail and pop. Especially when used for selected areas of a shot. In this case I was able to isolate significant parts of the web and spider and it has made quite a difference.
