For me, both versions have their own merits, John. The colour version works for me too but if I did not know your area, I would have thought the same as Greg...the black and white version is a different mood altogether. Maybe use Bi-color user option in the clouds from Nik at the Black and white then manipulate the verticals and horizontal sliders to suit. A slight lightening of the clouds from some areas will be helpful...just a thought..

Did anyone spot the helicopter in the middle of the scene, I was expecting someone to advise editing it out?

I did too but it is OK there...as Greg said, it looks like a war torn area because of it. Now if we don't know you live around NJ that chopper could have been an Afghanistan shot.

Living in the drought stricken and fire tormented West Coast, I immediately assumed that the dark cloud was the smoke from a fire. Glad that it wasn't.

Note: We just had a half inch of rain and are expecting to have a thankfully wet winter...
