Exquisite wildlife photography as always... Truly a pleasure to view, and a privilege. 1 (soft colours and uplifted paw),5, (gorgeous capture set off by a sunrise sky) 6 & 7 (adorable moment/eye contact), playful moment with the falling snow in the background) are my favourites but they are all drop dead gorgeous.

Thanks for the additional comments, folks. Sorry I only posted low rez images while the light box was down.

Indeed the light when I took that image was near perfect. We had low, golden sun with dark clouds on the horizon in the BG. The bear was walking down the beach and I asked the guide to position the boat across from that log. I waited for that shot as the bear walked down the beach. "OK, now step on the log, step on the log like a good bear...." I was afraid that it doesn't look real. Looks nearly like a studio shot or a composite.

I cannot find a favourite nor would I attempt to...they are all beautiful shots -- even #1 which I would have mesh up if it was mine...but #5 fella seems to look happy...

They do look like they are smiling. They should be a bunch of happy bears. Plenty to eat during a time of year that most are hungry.

    Re: Polar Bears

I forgot to say the why's of my favourites so I edited my comment to add on why. The 2nd image is stunning and looks like a beautiful environmental portrait.

#6 is my absolute favourite for the moment captured combined with the falling snow makes for a magical image, and a type of bear image I've never seen.#7 is also extra precious to me for the playful moment.

    All are inspiring images...

Glad you guys enjoyed the little glimpse of creation. I just operate the equipment and am glad I can share what I'm privileged to see from time to time.

Christina, thanks for the detailed comments.
