Montreal River Trestle
We took the Algoma Central Railway tour to the Agawa Canyon today. This 182 km / 114 mile train journey starts in Sault Ste Marie, Canada and heads to the Agawa Canyon Park. There is a 90 minute stop at the park for people to look around and the train then returns to the Soo.
It is a very popular thing to do at this time of year, to take the trip to see the fall leaves. Other than the part in the park, all photography is out of the train windows.
This shot shows the train crossing the Montreal River trestle. The MacKay Dam, that stores water for the hydroelectric generating station below the dam is shown at the bottom left corner of the image. I was sitting in around the middle of the train when I took this shot.
