Helpful Posts: Hi Guys and Fellow Gimpians - Gimp 2.6.9 was released a few days ago, and the Windows version has just been released from the usual sources. I'm not sure what has changed as the News log does not seem to mention anything new for this release. Probably it is just some bug fixes. Anyway, the new release appears to have installed OK. If anyone finds something radically new about 2.6.9 I'd appreciate knowing.

I'm having trouble downloading it; I keep getting a page with twenty questions, plus I found out my old version doesn't work anymore.

I downloaded it a few days ago and it works just fine on Windows 7......
If you use Gimp Themes then you must uninstall and reinstall....This is needed on Windows 7 or the selected menu item disappears.....I use Aurora Midnight for a nice Graphics look......the GMIC plug-in has also been updated to 1.3.6.7 with some nice additions and improved performance......
