    Tourists - Street Photography

How can you tell that these are tourists?

I've started to go through the images I took over the past three weeks and am looking for a few more "gems" that I missed the first time around. A bit of motion blur as some of the people got ready for this shot. There person who was going to photograph this group and I exchanged a smile as the group was figuring out where to sit and pose.

This shot was taken at the Mt Tremblant, Canada ski resort village. What I liked is how the people who were getting ready to have their picture taken were oblivious to me taking there picture...

In a western environment, I will be the last person to know whether a person or group are tourists, but put them in an Asian environment, they stick out like sore thumbs with their skin colour and accent.

In this part of Mt Tremblant, unless the person is working at a restaurant, shop or on the ski hill, they will be a tourist.

Cool shot. Yes the oblivious group and one person taking notice suggested a story. Thanks for providing the context.

    Hello Izzie,
I have worked in Asia and like it and your sense of humor.

    Have a nice day.
