Re: Lightroom Update Issues
Thanks for the links, Terry. A couple of days ago I made the mistake of updating my LR6.0 to the latest version. It broke all of my plug-ins. I'm rolling back to 6.1.1 per the LRQueen link.

Re: Lightroom Update Issues
There's an awful lot of disenchanted Lightroom users who are venting on line, regarding this update. Some of whom are convinced that the released update was rushed time to coincide with an Adobe Max event. I doubt that Tom Hogary's apology will pacify the existing pro users who's workflows now need to be modified.

Re: Lightroom Update Issues
I am now more convinced than ever that some time back Adobe and Nikon silently merged. There are too many similarities in their efforts to disenfranchise their existing pro user base for it to be coincidental. At a minimum they both hired the same customer relations/marketing consultant

Re: Lightroom Update Issues
I just updated my stand alone 6.1 version and now I have to sign in using an adobe ID to use my stand alone SW? WTF is up with Adobe. I love LR, but I HATE the way Adobe runs their business. If I can roll back the most recent version to my stand alone version of 6.1, I will NEVER upgrade the SW again. I hate companies that want to control EVERYTHING and force you to use things you don't necessarily need or want. Anyone else have that problem with a stand alone now having to sign into adobe?

Re: Lightroom Update Issues
I didn't have that issue but 6.2 broke all of my plug-ins. I had to un-install and re-install to back up to v6.1.

Re: Lightroom Update Issues
I have bitten the bullet and upgraded Lightroom to the latest version. I have a disk for Lightroom 6 and photoshop cs6. Whilst I currently subscribe to the CC. I have no intention of upgrading my current Mac book pro 17 ins beyond Yosemite... What I have works with exception of the graphics advanced features which Lightroom has disabled and I know not how to work around this. It did work then failed in Lightroom OK in Photoshop. When the cloud gets beyond my current system specs it's goodbye. Looking at the last release from the Cowboys it might well be sooner than later... I will say no more other than buyer/subscriber be aware.
