    the blossoms will shortly have a growth spurt and end up about 10 inches long. I have yet to figure out how to get a good shot of them after the growth spurt.

    When I review your work I do like it: Very well composed with fine lines, and its a pleasure to view the colour tones and the bokeh.

    I have tried many times to get a good shot of this flowering tree/bush. Glad you like this one.

    Experience is helpful. Along with using the right F/ I am beginning to understand how far away background and foreground should be abnd how far away to place the camera.

    Yes, Brian, good botanical photography is as much about organising the scene and getting the correct amount of distance to the background as it is about simply clicking on the main subject.

    This all needs a bit of thought before actually pressing the shutter.

    You are producing some good work now.
