    trying for autumn/fall moods

On my holidays I tried to capture autumn/fall (nobody could this far explain to me, whether there is a difference or not - and if, what - between the american and the english term for this season).
Apart from that: What do you think about these?:

    #1: Above Lake Geneva I

    trying for autumn/fall moods

#2: II Same place, next tree

    trying for autumn/fall moods

    #3: Botanical Garden, Geneva

    trying for autumn/fall moods

    #4: III Back to Cuvaloup

    trying for autumn/fall moods

    C&C as always welcome

Never thought about the difference in terms but here you go.

Nice captures, 1, 2, and 4 remind me of autumn, #3 is definitely a fall photograph.

For me, Erwin, #1 works fine; but I'm not over keen on #2 which has too much dark matter.

#3 would have worked OK if you had removed that background head before shooting; but in this image it creates too much distraction.

#4 is good, although I do wonder about a slightly different crop to remove a little of the left side.

I like #3 very much (even, despite of) that other blurry one at the back...what it is? Yeow...I know it is a plant, but I want to know what it is...
