Captures vibrancy and energy. It's good. I think it would have been even better if there wasn't that bit of motion blur on No 7. You've nailed No 2 perfectly. No 7 must have been running too fast to block him.

Yes, it would have been a great shot if both had been sharply focused.

Was the problem caused by motion blur or a very shallow depth to the focus area?

Thanks for commenting Donald and Geoff. I think the blur of the no. 7 is a combination of panning with the ball carrier and shallow DOF.
