    Morning Dew

An old photo that I missed for processing, had a little time to do it this morning.

Anyone know what plant/grass that is?

A bit of abstract effect to this one, Matt. Reckon this is a cat's eye view?

Cheers Dan, I didn't think of that but it probably was similar to what the cat was looking at

Very nice composition, Matt. The plant is some kind of horsetail, Equisetum, which are related to ferns.

Are you happy with the Tamron macro lens Matt ? If I need one in the future I might as well buy a Tamron as it is cheaper

Nice capture Matt. I like the richness of the green. It lets the dew stand out.

Binnur, Both the Tamron and the Tokina 100m macro lenses were rated sharper than the Canon/Nikon equivalents by reviewers at the time they were launched. From memory, the Nikon equivalent in particular loses out because it has a rotating front element which make the use of a polariser difficult. Either would serve you well. I ended up buying the Tokina simply because the Tamron was so popular at the time, it was in short supply. I have no regrets. Google the reviews.
