Not a typical Scottish autumn day

During a visit to Loch Lomond this weekend I noticed a grandfather and grandson enjoying the best Scotland has to offer. All c&c welcome.

    Duck Bay marina.

    Aahh, there it is.

Lovely. Only comment - If you made it a 2:1 ratio by cropping at the right hand side, that would move the boat (and the people in it) further away from the centre of the frame. Just a thought.

Thanks Donald, cropped it slightly, I agree it was all too central originally.

    Nice shot, Gerry.

It looks like you had a fairly hazy day. When I first looked at the image, it seemed a bit unsharp, but when one looks at the canoe, it looks extremely clear, but the trees in the background do look a bit foggy. I suspect this is a great candidate for the new ACR / Lightroom dehaze function.

The revised version displays a much nicer composition.

Very nice shot Gerry, I think the crop works better and definitely improves the composition.
