how to put photographs on this site

Hi
How do I put photographs on this site for members to give me advise on my photography and also to enter the latest mini competitions, on the competition thread it is asking for a link, can I not just upload from my computer and is there a restriction size ?

Ps. I usually resize my images to 1200 pixels on the long side and 80% quality Jpeg which is a good compromise between quality and acceptable image size for easy access; but maximum size is 1600 pixels. Alternatively, I sometimes link photos from my P base Galleries.
