    Peachicks - C&C are welcome !!

    Dear All,

Here is a shot of one month old peachicks. I have tried to take a ground level shot. I hope you will like it.

Your C&C will be highly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Tejal

    Hi Tejal,

I think this is the first wildlife shot we've seen you post - and what a way to start!

Very good job getting down to their level - plus excellent focus, Depth of Field, exposure, background.

If there is anything to be picky about, it has to be the composition/framing; there's a bit too much blank space on left and not quite enough on the right. However, I am being very unfair mentioning it because I suspect these beauties were quite active and changing their 'poses' by the second, so probably were not as they are now when you framed up originally.

    They look like cute characters.

    Very well done, Dave

You could probably get away with a very slight crop from the top and left side, but a good shot as it is; with excellent 'expressions' from the subjects.

Thanks Dave !! Yes i think for the first time I posted something like this. I hardly do wildlife photography, have no patience . As you have suggested about the spacing, I will correct it. Thanks once again .

Love it Tejal, we do not get many shots of wildlife like this.

Shooting from the level you did made this one. As for any cropping, possibly a very tiny bit from the top only, or lighten that darker spot top centre just to the right.

What does a pea chick looks like when mature? How big are they matured? They have a cute expression on their faces, like confusion on what you are actually doing...? What is that big thing poking out of his face, one says? I can just imagine you "going down to their level"... the moment I do that level thingie, even with my little dogs, they ran away before I can lie on my tum-tum...

    Well done, Tejal...

Izzie, don't know if you were being serious, but pea chicks grow up into peacocks and pea hens - and I'm sure you know what they look like
