Photo Competition for July 2010

Rules of Engagement:

1. Image must have been taken this month (July) (or thereabouts) eg if you took a shot towards the end of last month, but didn't have time to enter it in last month's competition, then that's fine (I just want to encourage people to "get out and get shooting", and not to just submit historic work).

2. Enter as many images as you like, but only 1 per post please

3. Please change the title of your post to reflect your image name (it makes it much easier for people to refer to your image that way ) (To change your post title you'll need to click on the "Advanced" button).

4. If you enter an image then please do the right thing and vote for the 3 best images when voting opens at the beginning of the following month.

Looks good to me Grant - the only comment I can make is that it appears you have a small black dot along the top edge of the shot.

Yes it is a helicopter. I thought I had trimmed it out. I obviously need to check more carefully in future. Thanks for pointing it out.

Wow; I just looked up through this thread, and now I am dreading the end of July when I'll have to pick just 3 of these when voting comes around - there are just so many good ones.

PS Maybe that's why we sometimes struggle to get enough voters, it is too difficult to choose.
