Thank you ali.
Very nice Steve, I especially like the Clematis (sp) The Lily looks excellent in the lyte box, and the water droplets make the shot. I wonder what is showing up in the reflection of the drops on the bottom. That would make an interesting macro.
Thanks, Dave.
Skill, mate, pure unadulterated skill! No, seriously I use Trent Plastics on (dare I say it) Ebay. This is their shop. You need at least 500mmx500mm to get the angles. It's double-sided with protective wrap, so it lasts for ages. Lay the plastic on a table with the subject on. Put a large black art-board over the top about 12in away to stop any intruding light from above. Shine a lamp, or flashlight into the space (from the front) when you shoot. A light meter helps, but is not essential.

Rob thanks for the information. This is a must have....all I need now is some of your skill...can you get that on e-bay too?
And for all the flower shot experts; Why do my reds turn into an accidental splash from a kids colour palette? See sweet pea below;
Oh and a quick snap caught in poor light hence the grain from high ISO. Not a question but I thought I would share
No, but I can give you expert tuition by email on heathrobinson@bodgeitonthecheap.co.uk
