Cute pup. I like the second shot for the expression and BG.
Your dog looks abused...![]()

Having to wait for a treat after posing is so cruel...poor doggie. I kinda like the portrait session...but a dog is a dog...I want a happy expression...
I wholeheartedly concur With Izzie. Your dog certainly looks abused, I mean look at those eyes it the second photo -
She is spoiled.
Cheers Ole
I've been trying to 'see' this image without that tree on the right hand side, as we look at it. I think it's a pity it was there as it's sort of 'muscling-in' on what is a wonderfully gentle picture.
That aside, I think it's a lovely picture. Absolutely gorgeous wee dog, but ignoring that and trying to assess it as a picture, I think it stands up as a very good image.
Lovely dog Stu, #2 is my pick!
Donald, you are absolutely right. That bloody tree is distracting and doesn't help the image at all. I (again) committed the sin of not carefully checking the background for the shot. I must admit I also find the difference in colours between the greens in the top half and the gold/orange in the bottom distracting as well.
I continue to work for that "perfect" photo of Ceilidh, the soft coated wheaton terrier! I too want happy - which usually entails her running around like the pup she is - making it near impossible to get those adorable eyes in focus! But I won't give up trying...thankfully her puppy treats are very small and I make sure she runs them off. But I do enjoy spoiling her!
Nice captures.

Nice looking soft coated weaton terrier and really nice images. I was so intent at looking into her bottomless brown eyes, that I never noticed the tree...
