Last month, I went to Reykjavik Iceland for vocation and grabbed almost the last chance to witness the 'Aurora Borealis'.
The northern lights take place on an 11-year solar cycle. However, after next year, they are going to be much more difficult to see because we are at the beginning of a downward leg of the solar cycle.
According to the web, auroral displays appear in many colours although pale green and pink are the most common. Anyone knows what lights are those on the bottom right of picture #1?
