Cherry picker dusk shooting advice?

I need to shoot from a cherry picker at dusk in a couple of weeks and have only ever done ground based photography before. Just wondering if anyone can share some advice with regards to shutter speed?

Does the platform tend to be quite still if there was a slight breeze? I'll have a tripod but should I be expecting to use settings as if it were handheld or monopod?

Ideally I'd like to shoot some single images followed by a 360 HDR panorama.

Single shots are the critical ones to get best quality I can and would be using either canon 17mm TSE or the wide end of 24-70mm L. 5D3.

Any thoughts?

I have shot from a cherry picker platform and even in a slight breeze you could feel and see it moving, also as soon as I moved it reacted....alarmingly I might add.
I'd say if it is absolutely calm and you are absolutely still and you give the whole thing time to settle you might be ok but alter one of those requisites and you're going to introduce motion.

Not necessarily. I'm anticipating that I'll need to shoot fairly quickly. And with low light I'll prob need to crank the ISO a bit. Was this your approach or did you wait unless the stars aligned?

I was shooting through the day but it was still a...lets say....dramatic experience. It is a amazing how much you move around, unless there are good cherry pickers and not so good models and I had the basic model

David I would think that you might have a hard time preventing your platform from movement, remember there is not a lot of room and doing a 360 is going to mean a lot of movement. Every time you move or shift your weight it will move and will take some time to stop. Depending on the height I would suggest, if you can scaffolding good steady.
