Bagged some light
Out this morning hunting, well after my large double-double, I finally tracked it down on a small back road, there is was, all quiet like, really trying to just blend in, however I could see it pulled the trigger and nailed it. Then another one reappeared, the hunt was on again and the result was I bagged a second one. As you can see from these two beauties, hunting the light can be so worth it. The light is where and what is it all about.
Cheers: Allan

A large double-double*? I'd be scouting the woods for a "bush toilet" in a hurry, not taking those wonderful images. You still have great colours down your way. The reds are mostly gone up this way.
* for the non-Canadians, a brief explanation. A large double-double is a large size coffee with two sugars and two shots of milk from the well known Canadian donut shop chain "Tim Horton's". I tend to have trouble holding the camera still with that much caffeine and sugar.

Light indeed. For some reason I struggle with composition on scenes like that. You did well.

Both good, Allan. I really the first shot for the way you have captured the arc of yellow stretching from the top right to lower left corners. And your processing has nailed - very vibrant scene.

Nicely seen, Allan...so much colour down your way...I would reduce the caffeine though no matter how cold the weather is.
